Problem 19.26
หัวข้อ: ปรากฏการณ์โฟโตอิเล็กทริก (The Photoelectric Effect)
แสงกำลัง 80 W ความยาวคลื่น 500 nm ตกกระทบโลหะซึ่งมีฟังก์ชันงาน 2.0 eV จะทำให้เกิดโฟโตอิเล็กตรอนต่อวินาทีจำนวนเท่าใด?
คำตอบ
\(\therefore \frac{n}{t}=2.0\times 10^{20}Electrons/s\;\blacksquare\)
\(\therefore \frac{n}{t}=2.0\times 10^{20}Electrons/s\;\blacksquare\)
ดูวิธีทำ
กำหนดให้ \(\wp = 80 W, λ = 500 nm = 500\times 10^{-9} m, φ = 2.0 eV,\)
\(h \approx 6.626\times 10^{-34} J·s\) และ \(c \approx 3\times 10^{8} m/s\)
จาก \(E_{\gamma}=\frac{1,240}{\lambda _{nm}}eV =\frac{1,240}{500}= 2.48 eV > 2.0 eV\)
∴ มีโฟโตอิเล็กตรอนเกิดจากความยาวคลื่นดังกล่าว
จาก \(\wp = \frac{E}{t}\)
\(\wp =\frac{nhf}{t}\)
\(\wp =\frac{nhc}{t\lambda}\)
\(=\frac{n}{t}\frac{\wp \lambda}{hc}= 2.0\times 10^{20} Photons/s\)
\(\therefore \frac{n}{t}=2.0\times 10^{20}Electrons/s\;\blacksquare\)
